Introduction
This international workshop is designed to present and to share state
of the art information on voice of interest to otolaryngologists,
speech pathologists and scientists. The workshop covers physiology to
phonosurgery, from the molecule of elastin to the voice handicap index,
from the embryology to the adult vocal fold, from the polyp of the
vocal fold to the spasmodic dysphonia. The delegates will improve their
basics, and the limits that phonosurgery and speech therapy could reach
from the faculty experience.
Furthermore the innovation session will bring the cutting edge in
laryngology and what we could expect from the future in our field. The major topics are this year : Benign lesions of the vocal folds, Neurolaryngology, Papilloma and Pediatric laryngeal diseases.
The innovative session: “the cutting edge in laryngology and voice
science” will address recent research findings for the clinical
practice on robotic, laryngeal stenosis, clinical findings on
stroboscopy and new imaging technology.
