Reactive Vocal Fold Lesions
Reactive Vocal Fold Lesions

A reactive vocal fold lesion is a mass that is located opposite of another vocal fold lesion, such as a vocal fold cyst or polyp. The reactive vocal fold lesion is thought to be a "callous" or "reaction" resulting from trauma or repeated injury from the lesion on the opposite vocal fold.

This diagram can be found in Vocal Fold Lesions: Understanding the Disorder.
